SKU analysis

SKU analysis

Pick a product and location to see demand forecast, stock-level zones, and supply planning from the same suggested-restock data as the reorder table.

SKU analysis is the per-SKU deep dive in Reports. It uses the same suggested-restock inputs as Stock Replenishment—demand, lead time, safety stock, and open POs—so the chart and the table stay consistent.

Where to find it: Dashboard → ReportsSKU analysis (/dashboard/reports). Select a shop first.

How to use it

  1. Choose a product (and variant) from the picker.
  2. Choose a location. Metrics and charts are scoped to that warehouse.
  3. Review demand forecast, stock levels, and supply planning for that SKU.

The header shows SKU, unit cost, and price when those values are on the variant.

Demand forecast

Historical demand vs the forecast band for the selected SKU and location.

  • Horizon matches replenishment: 12 months back and 12 months forward.
  • Past months with no sales show as zero demand (the line sits on the axis), not as missing data.
  • Confidence bands are not the primary production path—see AI Forecasting for how forecasts are produced.

Use this to sanity-check velocity before you trust a suggested restock quantity.

Stock levels

Zones and thresholds from suggested restocks for this location (same numbers as the reorder table):

  • Current on-hand
  • Average daily demand
  • Safety stock and lead-time demand
  • Desired stock / reorder point
  • Open PO quantity and recommended restock
  • Days of stock remaining

If stock is approaching the reorder point, the indicator highlights it so you can act from replenishment.

Supply planning

The inventory sawtooth (receipts vs. depletion) shows how on-hand is expected to move given demand and planned POs. It uses the same lead time, safety stock, reorder point, target stock, open POs, and demand as Stock levels.

From here you can jump to Stock Replenishment filtered to that product to create or adjust a PO.
